Around 3:30 p.m., LCFC Volunteers were dispatched for yet another brush fire. This time it was in Nantmeal Village in East Nantmeal Township. Deputy 73 went enroute and was advised of a brush fire extending into the woods. Brush 73 was the first fire truck enroute and arrived simultaneously with Deputy 73. Deputy 73 confirmed the report and the crew from the Brush went to work extinguishing the fire. Engine 73-1 followed the Brush out the door and arrived and supplied them with water and assisted with operations. Engine 73-5 arrived third, and their crew assisted in water supply and operations as well. Crews were on scene for roughly 30 minutes before returning to quarters.
