This past Thursday, LCFC firefighters David Huh and Oscar Woodgate successfully graduated from their respective Fire 1 programs. David started his Fire 1 modules back in 2024 at the Montgomery County Fire Academy. David joined LCFC without any prior firefighting experience and this is the first step in his journey to become a senior firefighter with LCFC.
Oscar joined LCFC as a junior firefighter and achieved his certification through the Octorara Program that our local school districts are involved in. Oscar attended Owen J. Roberts High School for half the day and spent the remainder of his day at the Chester County Public Safety Campus working on his Fire 1 certification.
Congratulations to David and Oscar on successfully completing the first step in your firefighting career. |
